Momentum Choreographer’s Showcase

DanceThe Studio@620 welcomes the return of projetALCHEMY as they present the third annual Momentum Choreographer’s Showcase with four fresh new dance artists: Emily Goonan (University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point alum), Kayla Gupta (University of Tampa alum), Deisha King (University of South Florida alum), and Shannon Smyth (current Florida Southern College senior).
You can expect an evening full of magic and games, process and reflection. You’ll enter into a gallery animated by the imaginations of these rising artists in collaboration with the talented 620 Studio Manager Marcus Wehby and projectALCHEMY Artistic Director Alexander Jones.
The Moment Choreographer’s Showcase spans 2 hours, containing a mixture of durational and finite dance works that will be occurring multiple times throughout the event. Guests will navigate through The Studio@620, discovering dance happenings, interacting with dance via technology, and experiencing blossoming installation work.
