Anthony Gervais is an actor, director, writer, and St. Petersburg native who is proud to be an Artist in Residence at The Studio@620, where he is developing new work as a playwright. His new play Maybe, a love story received a developmental staged reading here at The Studio in April. His recent work includes directing the holiday show The Magi at American Stage, as well as writing new work for the “Tales by Twilight” series at Boyd Hill, now in its third year. As an actor, favorite credits include Rosencrantz in HAMLET620, various appearances with the Radio Theatre Project, Harry Houdini in Ragtime in the Park (American Stage), Jamie in The Last Five Years, and Caryl Churchill’s A Number, for which he received a Creative Loafing “Best of the Bay” award (Off-Central Players). Anthony currently serves as Associate Artistic Director at American Stage, and holds a BFA from The Boston Conservatory.
