Avery Anderson

Marketing & Strategic Communications Consultant

Avery Anderson (they/them) is a Tampa Bay–based arts administrator, strategist, and communications consultant whose work sits at the intersection of storytelling, community engagement, and organizational growth. They specialize in helping cultural institutions clarify their voice, strengthen their brand, and build the systems that turn audiences into long-term supporters.

Avery currently leads marketing strategy and audience development initiatives for The Studio@620, guiding digital campaigns, membership programming, revenue planning, and the organization’s year-round storytelling efforts. Their consulting practice includes marketing, content development, and strategic planning for arts nonprofits, small businesses, and emerging creative enterprises across the region.

Before joining the Studio, Avery worked with American Stage, Long Wharf Theatre, and other companies throughout the Northeast and Florida, supporting initiatives ranging from season launches and donor engagement to large-scale communications projects. They are also the creator of The Arts Passport, a Tampa Bay arts journalism and community platform focused on elevating local artists and deepening regional cultural coverage.

Whether developing fundraising campaigns, shaping brand identities, or building data-backed marketing systems, Avery’s work centers on people first — creating pathways for artists, audiences, and organizations to connect in meaningful, lasting ways.
