The Studio@620 invites you to an opening reception for “Bệte Noire: The Migrant and The Mendicant”, the Painting M.F.A. thesis exhibition by Dr. Dallas Jackson, M.F.A. thesis candidate at Savannah College of Art and Design on Friday March 10, 2023 from 6-8PM. Additional gallery hours on Saturday March 11, 2023 from 5-9PM. Admission is free and open to the public. Additional gallery hours by appointment.

This exhibition is the artist interpretation of the period between the Emancipation Proclomation and pre-Civil Rights with a focus of visual extracts of African American culture and evolution over time. Thesis Exhibition in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Master of Fine Arts in Painting Savannah College of Art and Design.
