Black History Month Poetry Showcase

Signature Event Series Social Justice InitiativeThe Studio@620’s frequent poetry collaborator Miesha Brundridge is bringing together a local tribe of poets in celebration of Black History Month. This live poetry showcase will honor prominent black poets, speakers, and their words! Featured are local poets, including contributors of the locally published NEPTUNE poetry magazine, participants of The Studio@620 BLM Poetry Night, and students from John Hopkins Writing and Poetry Club. There will be music, poetry and monologues presented both virtually on The Studio@620 Facebook page as well as live to a limited audience. Advance reservations are needed to attend, and masks are required of all audience and participants.
