In the Winter by Kennedy Engasser

Local emerging playwright/actor Kennedy Engasser returns to The Studio@620 with a full length play titled “In The Winter”. Two performances are scheduled on May 27-28, 2023 at 8:00 PM. Kennedy presented four one act plays in 2022 and we’re looking forward to seeing this longer work from her.

Synopsis: Whilst trying to bury herself in rebranding her business, Winter’s estranged sister delivers the news that her abusive mother has suffered from a stroke. Now, she must grapple with those feelings, making the choice to say goodbye to her mother, or let her pass without seeing her. Throughout the story, Winter learns lessons about life, love, and acceptance.
