Bring your finest prose or a true story to share at this monthly literary open mic event hosted by Wordier Than Thou.
In addition to open mic readers, L.L. Kirchner will be the guest author.
L.L. Kirchner is the author of the forthcoming memoir Blissful Thinking: A Memoir of Surviving the Wellness Revolution.
Her first memoir, Hello American Lady Creature, was named one of Bustle’s “11 Books to Battle the Blues.” Her short play, In A World Where…, premiered in New York City in 2017. Originally from Salem, MA, she now lives in St. Petersburg, FL, where, much to her surprise and gratitude, she presents on the Home Shopping Network.
L.L. holds a journalism degree from Ohio State and is working on a television pilot.
Her first short film, My Dinner with Steve, has been accepted into 16 film festivals and taken top honors in three.
Her writing can be found in The Washington Post, GEN, DAME Magazine, and even the New York Times if you’re tenacious; she’s been writing since before the internet.
