MIXed: House Party Meets Dance Concert

Signature Event Series DanceprojectALCHEMY is throwing a house party at The Studio@620 to celebrate four years of dance making in St. Pete and you’re invited!
Inspired by budding artists in the New York arts scene sharing their creations out of their homes, projectALCHEMY presents their very own collection of new dance works by company dance artists in their 620 home. Choreographers include Heidi Brewer, Emily Curry, Evan Smith, Kirsten Standridge, plus a few surprise guests.
What’s the evening going to be like, you ask? Just like any house party, you can grab a drink and snack from the kitchen and start your night at the heart of our house in the living room. Here you can show off your moves on the dance floor (and catch some of ours) before wandering into one of the many rooms up/inside/and outside of 620. Each room in the “house” offers a different perspective from the choreographers on how dance can exist in a single space. From live dance and dance films, to dramatic balletic rom coms, and mini lip sync concerts, this MIXed dance experience will have something for everyone. This is a mobile dance tour encompassing the entirety of the venue. Some rooms will have limited seating, so make sure to dress to impress and dress comfortably.
