DanceprojectALCHEMY celebrates 5 years of propelling dance artists forward with the 2023 Momentum Choreographers Showcase, September 29th and 30th at 7:30PM. Join Autumn Christian, Delaney Hatfield, Olivia London, and Sydney Lemelin as they guide you through their unique processes of making dances. Enter into a gallery animated by the imaginations of these rising artists in collaboration with the talented Studio@620 Managing Director Marcus Wehby, projectALCHEMY Artist Director Alexander Jones, and Company Managers Sarah Hamilton and Emily Curry.
The Moment Choreographers Showcase spans an hour, containing a mixture of durational and finite dance works, followed by a brief talkback and reception to close the experience. Guests will navigate through the venue, stumbling upon dance happenings, interacting with dance via technology, and experiencing blossoming installation work. We strongly encourage that you meet and greet with the choreographers throughout the event to hear first hand about the artistic process and their journey in creating their work.
NEW: You can now attend all three projectALCHEMY events with a special ticket package. The $35 three show package includes Momentum in September 2023, Mixed in November 2023 and Bloom and Residue in March 2024.
