Blah Blah Blah Literary Open Mic

Hosted by Wordier Than Thou

Literary
Join Wordier Than Thou for the October gathering for the Blah Blah Blah literary open mic series on October 11 at 8 PM.
The evening begins with a reading from this month’s featured writer Wendy Dalrymple, and continues with readings from writers in the community. The theme for October is MACABRE!
Bring your finest prose or a true story to share at this monthly literary open mic.
After a reading from our special guest author, things open up for local authors to share their work!
The Open Mic Rules:
1. Every reader gets 10 minutes to share their work.
2. We’ll limit each event to just 10 readers.
3. Toss your name in the bucket when you arrive. Names will be chosen at random.

About Wendy Dalrymple
Wendy Dalrymple writes cute, low-heat romances and sometimes spooky stuff too. When she’s not writing happily-ever-afters and tropical thrillers, you can find her camping with her family, painting (bad) wall art, and trying to grow as many pineapples as possible.
ROSER PARK: Charlotte Slater is freshly divorced and starting over again in her hometown of St. Petersburg, FL. When a dog sitting job in the nearby upscale neighborhood of Roser Park falls in her lap, Charlotte jumps at the chance to make some easy money and enjoy a little peace and quiet. But as usual, when things seem to be too good to be true, they often are.
A strange force beckons her to learn the secrets of Roser Park and dig deeper into a century old mystery forgotten by time. Even as danger lurks just outside her door, Charlotte must choose between her instincts and common sense if she wants to ever leave the house alive.
