Featured Poet:
Lennie Hay is a 2019 MFA graduate of Spalding University. She grew up in the Midwest between two cultures—Chinese immigrants and Russian German farmers. A former educator, she lived in Louisville, KY for nearly 50 years and now lives on the water in Southern Indiana and in Florida drawing energy from visual art, her family’s history, and music. Lennie’s debut poetry collection was recently released by Broadstone Press. She has had poems published in national and international print and online journals, as well as in two anthologies. Lennie recently gave a poetry reading at Carmichael’s Bookstore in Louisville KY, will read at the Chautauqua Institute Author’s Hour on August 20, and at the Paul Sawyer Public Library in Frankfort Kentucky on September 10.

*We are normally meet the first Wednesday of the month, but are meeting on Thursday in January!
