The Studio@620 presents a staged reading of “A Soul’s Final Journey”, a play from local playwright Steven R. James on August 24-26, 2023. Join us as we embark on a surprising journey of reflection and redemption.

“A Soul‘s Final Journey” is the epic tale of Andrew Paige Turner. A man who lived a happy life yet suffering in silence over his past. Andrew, who everyone calls Paige, has arrived at a place where he must now relive the few years of his life that caused immense emotional trauma. Paige needs to gain a deeper understanding of the nature and reality of what happened so he can find peace and move into the light. Filled with twists and an outcome you don’t see coming.

Dialogue in this play does contain adult language and situations.

About the Author

Steven R. James is a native New Englander who was raised in Massachusetts and spent many summers in the Sebago Lake region before moving to Maine. Steven has spent many years dabbling in the arts. After many years of self employment Steven decided to set a course on finishing his bachelor’s degree. The pandemic and lockdowns were seen as an opportunity to write “A Soul’s Final Journey”. Now residing in Florida, Steven enjoys the culinary arts along with music and writing. Steven is an avid reader who is a big fan of Stephen King.
